Attention Seahawks Fans!

These sweet and spicy wings are just the ticket to victory on the table, and we plan to enjoy them by the heaping helping as we cheer on our team. They are easy to make, too, so you don’t have to spend much time in the kitchen. Seattle Salmon Rub is good on all kinds of things- not just salmon- and we’ve taken advantage of that to create this special hawks-fan fare. Combine the pan-Asian flair of the spice rub with sweet orange and maple and a kick of heat from Aleppo and you’ve got a winner. If you like them really hot, increase the Aleppo or add a sprinkle of our Rooster Spice to the sauce. The sky’s the limit.

GO HAWKS!!!!

These are awesome!! I’ve made a few batches now & the only suggestion I would make is to toss in some salt with the spices for roasting the wings, really makes all the flavors pop. Thanks for this great recipe!!

So glad you like them! I’m thinking a little bit of Alderwood Smoked Salt would go perfectly with the wings…or even a bit of our Svaneti Seasoned Salt. Hmmm…perhaps we need to make another batch now.

…Super-Bowl Sunday in Rifle, CO, boy does my kitchen smell good right now..! I’m reducing the glaze as I’m writing this so the best is yet to come… using thighs instead of wings, juice and zest of Blood-orange, couldn’t find Mirin so I sub’d a little red wine and white-vinegar mix, and I just happen to have some home-made Alderwood-smoked sea-salt… I’ll add it to the final roast… THX for the tips everyone..! love you Nanda,GO BRONCOS..!

These wings were a hit at my Super Bowl party (and we’re all Niner fans:) Liked the idea of a little Alderwood salt. I will be making them again!
