It would certainly be helpful to include the ingredients that comprise a rose harissa spice blend for chefs that actually want to create and learn how to understand the complexities of flavor.
It is my opinion that a serious recipe delves into how to create these concoctions from scratch, not relying on seasoning blends or jarred peppers to quickly create a shall I say lazy facsimile of an authentic delicacy 😉
Sorry to criticize, but when I search out a recipe I’m not looking for a quick fix I’m interested in the entire self created process ❤
    Thank you for sharing though.

Thank you for addressing the lack of ingredients listed so we have added a link to our Harissa page where they’re easy to find. The recipes to all of our blends are proprietary, however. This blend was created due to the many requests we got for a specific Rose Harissa blend, due to its rise in popularity. We understand the love and creative journey of creating a meal from complete scratch. Our blends are made for the convenience of our customers budgets, time and availability of equipment. Our recipes are open to interpretation, as they are guidelines not rules. Our goal is that everyone is able to make a flavorful meal and easily “play” with their food.

You can find the “from scratch” recipe on OMG Yummy website or in Ottolenghi’s SIMPLE cookbook. I appreciate this quick version too because sometimes I don’t have all the spices handy but I do have a great Harissa blend that I keep stocked.
